You're (almost) every nerd's fantasy come true.

So you are beautiful and you like "nerds." Not sure why this is a problem? Everybody has tastes and preferences and you should feel lucky that you know what you like, even if it goes against the mainstream.

For instance, I am super beautiful and I don't like jocks or the "popular" kids at school. Never have.

But I LOVE musicians, actors, and artists. Always have. If I know that you can write a song, play guitar or do something super creative, I melt. I do like some athletic guys but usually they are the offbeat types such as the skaters and the surfers. I like a guy who can get dirty and can see things outside the box. I am just glad I know what I like. You should be happy that you know what you like too.

Its possible that you're just caught up in "the chase." You even admitted in so many words that you're impressed that the nerds shy away from you. Its common knowledge that rejection often causes young women to show more interest. You're probably not used to rejection so maybe something about nerds intrigues you? To see if thats the case find a nerd that ISN'T too shy to talk to you. You may just be one of those girls who responds to being ignored!

And if not then there's nothing wrong with nerds. You should be with who YOU like & not with who you THINK you should like.

I love nerds, their very shy and it takes work to get their attention, but they treat women well, have tons of hobbies and interests and are very, very intelligent. Jocks and popular guys are not for me. Like you, I attract them, but after 10 seconds they bore the hell out of me.

Plus a lot of nerds look great at home, especially when they take their glasses off, change their clothes and they can be stunning. Nerds are great guys and their intelligence means the usually end up with good jobs and get very rich. Remember Bill Gates of microsoft and most of the computer guys were once nerds before they got rich.

PS: Uncle Sneaker if she ever leaves you, then just look my way... LOL

Uncle Sneaker agony auntNerds are good.

Geeky people who spend a lot of time on their computers and/or reading/writing, and wear spectacles?

Yup. That describes me. And I'm married to the hottest woman who ever walked the face of the earth.

If you like nerds then go for it. You'll find there's a lot more to a good nerd than a pair of spectacles and a bit of a brain.

LazyGuy agony auntLet me guess, you are a rather typical young woman who tries to label everyone for easy sorting?

Jocks, Nerds, the popular group, the not-so popular group, the losers.

Grow up.

Do you love your boyfriend because he has the right labels or because you love him as a person? In that case what wether he is a nerd or a jock or whatever shouldn't matter, that it does. Well the word 'shallow' keeps springing to mind.

Young people often are still experimenting with their feelings and as such love comes hard and fast. Basically your heart has the attention span of a kitten.

Try and sort out what you really feel for your current boyfriend and perhaps accept that for now you will be doing a lot of falling in love so perhaps it would be wise not to get to deeply involved.

You crack me up. I'm married to a Nerd (Though he prefers to the name Geek, it gives him more street cred!) There is nothing wrong with you...You just like who you like. Go out on a limb and approach one of these guys, they are no different then the jocks...Except for there Star Wars Collection HaHa. Go for is Chick A Dee....You won't regret going to the geek side. Once you go geek, you don't go back!!
