I'll be in my house alone.iv organised some booze, wil order pizza and il do with my favourite dvd. Its safer indoors than out with the bunch of 'friends'

What works? Family + Booze. If you have siblings, having a couple of drinks with them and watching the New Years celebration junk on TV/listening to muisc/eating take-in is always fun. Best part about it? You never have to worry about someone getting wasted - they pass out in your house!

Here's a thought. Why don't you just put on your best outfit hit the town and meet new people? If there's any time to do it, its on new years. Hell, you may even get a kiss come midnight. Do something about this, because staying at home is inevitably going to become a pity party.
How to get though a pity party? I find DVD's, pizza and booze works well, but frankly going out of your comfort zone and meeting new people is a lot more fun... and healthier.
