can I just point out that weight loss may be a *simple* thing as quoted by one of the other agony aunts, but if it was so simple then millions of people wouldn't be on diets round the world each year!
Losing weight ahs to come through will power and sensible eating and exercise. If you exercise regulaly and you don't not eat a lot of junk food, watch your portion control this should help. If you are in the UK try Slimming World....it is not about dieting as such, it is about teaching you to eat properly and how to limit your intake of *stuff* that piles on the pounds without us noticing. Speak to your parents and/or your GP. Do NOT become obsessed about it, at your age it can be easy to fall into the trap of not eating ENOUGH and leading to the slippery slope into an eating disorder which can ruin your body and your life.
Get help from a trusted adult and good luck.

I had got pretty overweight through depression, etc, and I was living on my own at the time, any way, I took drastic measures and went on the most extreme Atkins diet you could ever imagine for 6 months. Worked perfectly, I became really slim.
4 years on, I've never allowed myself to get fat again. I exercise, and make sure I don't binge on too much junk food.
There are drugs you can get to make you loose weight - they are prescription based though. Some (questionable) internet websites will sell you these drugs, but, honesty, taking a pill each morning will cause you far more harm than good. Work on eating less and exercising. If you don't find you have the strengh, perhaps there are other emotion problems that are affecting you? Very often we neglect exercise, or indulge in high carb or sugar products because we don't have the self confidence to believe in ourselves.

I don't believe in diets, as they usually end up in your weight yo-yoing up and down and you feel miserable by restricting intake. Weight loss is a simple thing - eat less calories than your body needs per day and then it will tap into your fat supplies. That doesn't mean starving yourself until you are blue in the face, but it does mean doing some gentle exercise on top of eating sensibly. First of all you have to figure out if you are overweight or just losing a few pounds for vanity. If you are physically active, and not eating junk then there could be a medical explanation for your weight such as an underactive thyroid, or insulin resistance (pre-diabetes) which can be checked out with a simple blood test at the doctors. You need to stay away from complex carbohydrates if you want to lose weight, and dont expect to lose masses of weight quickly. Drink lots of water per day too as this will help you feel better as you 'diet'. Avoid medications (unless you have a medical condition diagnosed by a doctor) or herbal remedies for weight loss. Medications are only available to obese adults who have serious health risks. Herbal remedies have not been subject to rigorous clinical trials to determine their effectiveness or safety.

Wines/Ports are okay, just drink in moderation. Swimming, crunches, and curl-ups are more preferred than sit-ups as sit-ups can cause stress to your neck in the long-run. Jogging on stationary tread or outdoors, etc are also good.
Basically, you need to exercise to burn off your daily calories. If you diet, I suggest you search on Google for that sort of thing. Eating less doesn't mean it'll be good for your weight/body. Try eating less carbs and more protein based meals. Make sure your metabolism is normalized, drink stuff that help you with daily bowel movements. Drink water, but 8 cups are good enough.
I heard sex is a great exercise for those who like to go on top. However, if you're not as old as I am assuming you are, then ignore this last paragraph.
AND don't believe in ads or promos that says some sort of dieting medication, cuz ah, yeah, no work, mainly scam. Must sleep...

Also, think about drinking more water and watching your portion sizes, but before you make any changes to you diet and exercise program, talk with your family doctor. He or she can help put you on the right path. Good luck! IMO diet aids are not what they are cracked up to be.
