You shouldn't stay in a relationship because of financial reasons.
Tell him you want to break up. If the house is yours then help him to find a new place. If he gets nasty then throw him out. Call the police if necessary.

Hi, Well it's really sad that a mature woman like you is being treated in this way, the older you are the less you should be havin these sorts of problems, well in theory anyway.
It is sad though and i'm gonna tell you what i think and be as honest as i can from what you have said. How long has he been drinkin heavily for? has it been more since you've been with him or was he like this from when you met?
I'm asking this question to find out whether there might be an underlying reason why is being so disrespectful and ignorant towards you, because there either is a problem which if you love him you can help him with it. You can overcome your problems and he will listen to you more or that he doesn't love you anymore and he's only staying there for what he can get.
This man is not acting like he loves you and he's treating you like dirt in the process, it's as if he has a problem with women. You need to find a solution quickly or you gonna find yourself in great misery and unhappiness. You deserve so much better and you shouldn't have to ask a man to have sex with you. Sort it now before you lose all of your self-respect and confidence cos then it will be hard to see whan a man does really care for you and that will be terribly sad, you've put up with this for far too long and you should have done something about it sooner!!
