I know the whole "love has no boundries" thing but I can't help thinking that a 20 year age gap is just a little weird, it's like a 1 year old going out with a 21 year old. I would just like everyones opinion thanks, with the acceptable age diference. Personally, I would have to go with anything under 20 but it still creeps me out a bit, but if it is true true true love then I don't think numbers should stand in the way thank youx Reply to this Question Share |

Love is blind. I'm 17 years apart from the love of my life. And I'm ok with it. Who cares what people think is acceptable?

I don't know if there is such a thing as a truly acceptable age difference. There will be some people who criticize whether it's 2-3 years or 20-30 years. If you are both truly and honestly into each other, then whatever age difference exists between the two of you is acceptable.

when it comes to age i feel from 16 it shouldnt be more than fve yrs and 3 yrs for anything younger then that... after 18 it should be whatever the person feels they want..
and theres always exceptions. age makes a difference because people are at significantly different points in life ate certain ages.. but on the same note that can make things more interesting..

I don't think it's so much age as a number, more a matter of where you are in life. High school students do better dating other high school students than they do college graduates out looking for work and apartments. You just have more in common that way. Once you're both out on your own, age doesn't matter too much, but a twice-divorced grandfather dating an unmarried virgin would be in very different places in their lives, age irrelevant.
