hi

i went out on a date with this guy it was our first date, but i've been left with a confused feeling i don't know how he feels maybe you could help!

during the date he kept asking questions getting to know me better, he even said its about getting to know each other better.

at the end of the night when he walked me to my car he said that it was nice and we should do it again and he will text me.

now i'm not sure what to do, wait for him to call/text as he said he would or make the move myself?

thanks!

Lizz agony auntLet him be. If he doesn't call/text then you know he doesn't like you. If you contact him when he said he'd make the contact it may make you look desperate and/or turn him off. Plus, the best way to find out if he really likes you is to wait for the call. If more than a week passes then you know he would've been a waste of time.

personally i wouldn't text him. guys don't text/call back as quick as us girls. i've never known a guy to text back straight away. i think they think it makes us want them more, but really it;s just a pain in the ass. lol. if you dont hear from him in a week or so, just send a little text and say r u free on blah blah, do you want to go for a meal or whatever. but don't be needy and text him yet, you will just look desperate.

Chippymunk agony auntHow long ago was your date? If it was only a few days ago, I'd give him some more time in case he is held up or busy and also to avoid coming off as being clingy. If it was awhile ago then you may try calling him but not about the last date. Maybe call to see how he is and if you'd like, try and subtly ask him out again by saying something like, "I'll be doing such and such next friday, would you like to join me?" That should avoid some awkwardness if he isn't interested in you, in which case he'll probably just say he's busy. But by all means, try not to ask him where he was since the last date, you may come off as being clingy. Good luck!
