Have been going out with my bf for 5 years and while he says he loves me he is not "in love with me!!!" I consider this to be an insult after all this time and praps I should just end it! I think I deserve better! Please advise as I do love him to bits(However life goes on!)and I don't want to be "used!"

I think that you should let him go because it sounds to me that he's just a friend and not a boyfriend.

kenny agony auntOne of the girls at my work came in one day and said the same thing, that her partner loves her, but isen't in love with her, and i remember everyone's advice to her was to leave him, and how insulting his comment was.

I know its hard, but i think your best option would be leave him and find someone that truly loves you and gives you the love and respect that you so rightly deserve.

I know what he means in that he loves you but isn't in love with you anymore....I have been in a similar situation. However, I did the good thing and parted with my ex husband so that I could allow someone to love him how he deserved to be loved.

As hard as it will be, I advise you to get out and find someone who will truly "love you". It will be hard, but with time you will be glad you made that choice.

I wish you the best of luck x
