As a guy I have never been turned off by pubic hair, but I have been more turned on if its kept neat, trimmed or shaved completely. I have been trimming or shaving my own pubic hair for years but my wife leaves hers au naturel and that's fine. Shaving is high maintenace though and I find needs doing daily to avoid rashes and itching. Feels great though. Why not treat your pubes like the hair on your head. Keep it neat and tidy and you won't go far wrong. Don't forget though that any guy worth a damn will be more turned on by your personality than by your appearance, pubic or otherwise. Stop worrying and get on with enjoying life. Its only hair afterall.

Some guys claim they like clean shaven because hair does not get in the way of oral sex and that can be true but even with a landing strip and if it is trimmed up there should not be too much of a problem.

Some guys like it trimmed; some like it bushy. Some clean shaven. Just like some women like facial hair on their men in varying degrees; some dont. If you ask him, his response is your business - not anyone elses.

I think that most guys prefer clean, neat, and trimmed real estate!!!
I've heard lots of guys complain when they seem a retro 1970's era bush. And to be honest, being a woman myself, I hate it when my pubic hair gets too long because it pokes out of my panties and gets really itchy.
If you can't afford getting a bikini wax, I would recommend shaving.
Oh and here is a really good tip: When you're shaving your pubic area, ALWAYS shave down, or else you will be left with razor burn. When shaving your legs you shave up, so that is how you can remember:legs UP, bikini area DOWN.

It really upsets me that people are telling you that it will turn guys off and relating what to do in terms of what strippers do. Are you a stripper? I don't think so. It is a very western thing to not be happy with hair- something so normal and natural. We get told that we must remover it when this is just so people can sell us stuff! I like to keep my bikini line neat and leave it like that.
What guys like depends on the guy. Some guys like it really bushy! Most guys just like it kinda neat and tidy.
Ive been doing a lot of swimming recently, and in the showers I have so much admiration or all the women out there in their bushy glory! It is so womanly. When you are young you may want to keep it tidy, and this is good so you dont have little spider legs sticking out of undies!! But if you've been with a guy for a while or had kids or something I doubt either of you would care that much.
Good luck and be happy with what you have and who you are. Please dont be self conscious!! xx

But it would be helpful to know what others think.. good question and sorry I cant be much help!

I'm not sure why you feel guys would be turned off by your pubic hair. If you are concerned about it, to the point that it makes you uneasy being undressed, you can do a number of things to tidy it up. I prefer to shave it down with an electric razor. Not only does it look neater but it gives guys a different feeling. There is always waxes and shavings done by professionals but if you choose this route, you do have maintain it to look good.Never have I had a guy be disgusted by my pubic hair and you probably won't either. But the key is how you feel about it and whether it disgusts you, not him. Be adventurous with this part of our body. Good luck.
