Try a little lick and a nibble and if you feel ok with that try and take the end in your mouth. It's easier if you kinda put it to the side a bit so it's going into your cheek rather than towards your throat. Gives you a bit more control and you are less likley to gag.
Don't feel pressurised into doing this because you think everyone else does it. Making love is about expressing your feelings in all sorts of ways and as long as you are both happy with the way you do it - that's normal for you.

Try flovored condoms or creams. Also look to the net for suggestions. The giggles are from insecurties. It happens alot when you try something new.
Just make sure you lay down some ground rules before you do it. If you have a bad experience the first time it will make you not want to do it again.
So make sure you now what your doing.

Ok, there will be a way you can do this and then if you chicken out you can do it with style.
Wait till you are on top of him and you are JUST about to have sex with him. Then as you are about to put him into you / put the condom on, pause, wriggle down over his legs and suck on the VERY tip of his penis.
If you manage that ok, then try putting the head in your mouth and just work your tongue over the top of it so you don't have to deal with any of the skin or anything else below.
If you manage that then go for the rest as you feel you can.
