A male United States age 51-59, *ylanthias writes:

My wife no longer has her womb, but still has fertile eggs. She has three children from a previous marriage. I have no children and so much want one child. We are not rich or anything, and have researched surrogacy. Are there any agencies or contacts that can help? I will graduate college soon and am 43. Someone please help. It would mean the world to us and our family.

might I also suggest that adoption is also a great option for building your family. don't get set on "my child must have my DNA or it's not my child" mentality....

Yes, there are agencies, just google it and you'll find them. Some women do it for a living. Now, what you should know that in some states, like New York, surrogacy is illegal. The best place to do it, the state which has the most "experience" with those types of situations (especially the very complicated paperwork) is California. The average cost is around $80 000, so it is not cheep. The surrogat mother gets $0-20.000, depends on the situation. Some women do it for free as a favor for friends. Good luck!

aunt honesty agony auntThe both of you should go to your local doctor and talk through your options with him, he will be able to advice you on where to go from here and he can put you in contact with local surrogacy agents. Good luck and all the best for the future.
