Hi there,
I think that you need to read the packet of info that came with your pills - it actually tells you what these pills are. Also, you could talk with your doctor about it.
But to answer your question - while your body is adjusting to the pill, it's normal to not have your period when you usually expect it. Eventually your menstrual cycle will get back on track, though. And those pills in the inner ring do not "make" you go on your period - they're actually "sugar" pills. They don't do anything but make sure you're taking the pill on the correct schedule. There are pill packs that also come without those pills, if you prefer not to take them. You could talk to your doctor about this, too.
Hope this helps. Take care.

Dont panic, if its your first month your body could still be getting used to the tablets. It may take a couple of months before you body gets into a routine.
In the meantime, if you intend to have any sexual relations, you must continue to use other methods of protection.
I think most "pill" boxes tell you that you are not "safe" until the end of month three. I know mine does.
