Please help!!!

My partner and I have recently been talking about having anal sex, which is something we both want. We went and brought some anal beads and lube...all was going well until it was time to pull the beads out which were..how do i say this delicately...a little messy. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this before, (how did you feel, has it happened since) also does anyone know of a way that this can be avoided next time as it really is (on my part) a major turn off and stumbling block.

Ive heard some people mention 'enemas' before but i have no idea what that is, can anyone advise.

Please advise!

Thank you

LazyGuy agony auntWith an enema you insert a nozzle (guess where) attached to a bag of water which is then allowed to flow in and 'wash' out your bowels. Wait a bit, then let if flow out. Ah yeah, anal sex, the height of a romantic evening.

An enema is essential to have the kind of clean anal sex people expect from the porn movies. Just as pre-stretching with a huge dildo is necessary to take it in one go without screaming the place down.

Even if you have solid waste and dieted a bit that day and went to the toilet all day and just before and had a wash the simple fact is that some waste remains in the bowel because that is what it is there for. If you just went to the toilet it is supposed to be reasonably empty but it all depends on how your digestive system is that day.

So should you use an enema? Depends on who you believe. Some health freaks swear that it helps you clean your body, sensible doctors tend to view that your body knows best what is good for it and that it is a bad idea especially done regularly. Similar to how women shouldn't wash out there vagina constantly.

Basically as far as anal sex is concerned, if you go poking in a cesspit expect to find shit.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (6 June 2008):

Anal sex can a little messy from time to time.

Before participating in anal pleasures, you can defecate first, so that there is less fecal matter stored.

Shower before sex, and using a soapy finger, wash inside the anus carefully and gently to remove any residual fecal matter.

An enema is used to flush out fecal matter from the rectum and/or colon. It is done by injecting a stream of fluid through the anus. It is not essential to perform an enema before anal sex, but diposable enema apparatus is available for purchase at some drug stores.

However, if it does not bother you or your partner to the extent where you are completely turned off, then you can omit the enema, and just stick to pre-defecation and showering.

Peterk5699 agony auntI'd imagine the best way to keep things clean would be for you to both have a shower first and clean in that "area".

Or maybe get it all out that day/night before so there's nothing to come out.

I'm afraid I don't know what an enema is so I apologise for not helping there.

Good luck and have fun.
