Do flash cards, write down key points from each section and write them on a small card, then flick through those cards on the morning of the exam

reader, anonymous, writes (18 November 2009): No idea what you are studying but this techique will work for most social studies:
Read through lecture notes, find the places in the books where these notes are explained in full version, memeorize dates! Take 10 minute breaks and continue this memorization for hours. Memorize key sentences, or key word. Link the keywords to one topic.
Then on your exam, you get a question about a topic and you should write down all the keywords you memorized. Then start debating them one by one and you should have a decent paper to hand in.
