She said that I had to pay for it myself. What should I do?? I've tried apologising but that didn't work. I'm going to run out of medication tomorrow, and it takes about a week to book an appointment with my doctor to get the medication! Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks in advance.

Scientists at NY University College of Medicine have shown that Niacinamide is superior to antibiotics such as Clindamycin in controlling acne.
Try "Niapads" (it contains Niacinamide) for controlling your acne. It’s Simple for Pimple(C). One step process provides exfoliation, pore cleansing and prevention of acne.
Visit www.niapads.com for details. Available on Ebay and Amazon.

I run a small health food store, and for the last 7 years have sold a homeopathic acne tablet that Really Works. (a mom once told me she got her son off expensive prescription meds with this)It's only about $8.00 per bottle. (1-2 month supply)email me if you want name brand...not sure if I can post it.

That's ok - don't worry about it! I appreciate your advice. But I'd just like to explain how the argument started...
I'm very sensitive about my acne (probably overly-sensitive) so I don't want anyone, except for my mum and I, to know about my medication.
What triggered the argument between us was her talking loudly about my doctor's appointment (and unsubtly referring to my acne) in front of my sister!
I got upset and angry, and was very rude to my mum, which I now regret.
Well, our argument escalated, and before I knew it, she was telling me bluntly that she would no longer buy me the acne medication, if this was the was I was treating her.
I tried to say sorry but it didn't help at all. She just constantly repeated, "If you want to get the medication, you have to buy it yourself."
Now, I am a full-time student currently studying for my A Levels. I have an unbelievable amount of coursework, homework and revision to do, meaning that I have little free time. So I really don't see how I could possibly take on a part-time job, to earn money to pay for the medication.
I really doubt that she will back down on what she said for I feel that she is trying to prove a point.
Thank you for your brilliant advice so far; do you think you could give me some further advice with the above information in mind?
Thanks again! :)

I can assure you that this is just a tiff and that your mother is cross. It will not last and she will continue to pay for your medication. No mother would ever want anything happening to their child so there is no need for you to worry. Book the appointment and give your mum some breathing space and she will calm down and everything will go back to normal. There is nothing for you to worry about and you have apologized so just leave it at that. Your mother knows how important the medicine is and she will continue to support you.
