Well a V-neck dress refers to the neckline - the shape is in a V. They are often fairly low cut and reveal a bit more clevage, and are good for women with larger breasts as the neckline flatters the shape.
A mermaid dress normally refers to the shape of the train - a bit like a mermaid's tail. So often it is gathered about mid-calf and then fans out into the lower part of the skirt or the train.
A round neck wedding dress is just that - a wedding dress with a round neckline. It is hard to explain it without talking about the straps - the straps will often dictate what sort of neckline the dress has.
E.g. halterneck where the straps tie behind your neck - these will often be a v-neck
Spaghetti staps normally have a rounded or straight across neckline that falls mid-chest, but can also have a v-neck.
Wider shoulder straps can accomodate any neckline as can dresses with sleeves.
As for a trumpet wedding dress - I've never heard of one of those before!
I hope this helps and good luck!
