One night after we went and watch a movie, she gave me a hug (not unusual, we always hug each other after we went out for a coffee or movie or what ever we do) and I involuntary gave her a kiss on the cheek. She started to laugh, which I assume was a nervous laugh, and she then went to her car. I don't know what to do, and what the nervous laugh means.

If she wanted such a kiss FROM YOU she wouldn't have broken up with / dumped you! Wake up! And stop forcing yourself onto undesiring girls. Next time she might report you to the police and she would have all the right to do so.

By the sounds of it, in my opinion, that is she is either nervous at the fact that you two have been friends for a while now and that brought back something and it made her feel uncomfortable. Or, she is beginning to have some sort of feelings towards once again. Maybe you could go out for another coffee again and ask about how her love life is lately. If she hesitates, then move on and ask another time. If not, ask her if she's seeing anyone, if she isn't, then you can go into more detail with her and somehow ask her.
I don't know if this will help, but I hope this does.
Lauren.
