 It could be that he knows you like him so its a friendly kind of gesture and he appreciates it. A kind of I know you like me and your sweet. Or it could be that he now thinks your great to and would like to maybe date you. The only way to know for sure would be to maybe try and get on to the subject of where he likes to hang out and what he likes doing and see if you can get yourself involved too! And then maybe at a later date suggest the two of you hang out together.
