Don't worry about it. I'm the same height and at 15 I was at that weight as well - as you mature you fill out a little. Exercising also builds a little weight as muscle is heavier than fat.

At 25 I'm now around 105 (slightly more or slightly less depending on circumstances), I eat healthy and exercise a lot.

I'd say that around 105-115 is probably an ideal weight for your height as you get older.

xanthic agony auntI was around the same weight as you when I was 15, though I was 5'1 at the time. The normal weight for your age and height is around 110, which isn't far off, so don't worry about it. Some people are naturally thin and have a hard time putting on weight, simply because their metabolism is so high. This is my problem, and because of a high metabolism I've never been able to go past 110.

Don't let what your boyfriend says get to you, the only thing that matters is that you're healthy and comfortable with yourself.

No, you're not too skinny. Most people in the US are overweight, and people here are used to looking at BIG people... You should see the young girls in other countries... they're all just as skinny as you, and skinnier too! I wouldn't worry about it at all.

We'll I dated a girl about year ago who was under a hundred pounds but she may have been a tad shorter, but she didn't seem too skinny. I mean you couldn't see her ribs when she took her shirt off

A female reader, Newbie31 United States +, writes (16 September 2010):

Newbie31 agony auntThat doesn't sound too healthy. Do your ribs show? But it may just be the way u are. Naturally skinny. Do you eat a lot or do you diet? If you do eat, and I mean eat, it night just mean you have a high matabolism. But I'm 5 5" and 130. Most my friends who, in my opinion, are skinnier than normal are 5 4 or 3 and at least 115 120. But u might just be naturally skinny, that's who u are, so dnt stress, and don't let ur bf make u feel bad.
