A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Okay so here's the issue, today is November 24th. On the 22nd (2 days ago) When I went to the restroom I noticed a little blood on the toilet paper [sorry TMI], it was a bright red I believe, but it never came out enough to make me need pad, all day. Only on the toilet paper or when I pee'd, etc. I was thinking maybe my period was starting, but the next morning when I woke up and when I wiped it was just a redish-brownish like old blood. By 10 am that morning it completely stopped. My period is usually about 6 days long.

NOW, I have unprotected sex every few days, the weekends, etc. Ill date back to the most recent times, on the 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th I had unprotected sex (no pull out) everyday. Then on the 17th thru 19th I didnt have sex at all. Then from the 20th til today I did.

All with the same person lol. Could it be due to to much sex or could the sex be too hard? Its never happened before, maybe I'm "ding it" too much lol. Any help is appreciated, im doctor-phobic and I really dont want to go in there just for them to tell m im overreacting over small stuff. Ty to everyone!! =]

Legioness agony auntImplantation bleeding varies from person to person, alot of people don't even get it. I'd suggest taking a test to be sure. Also, do you know when you've been ovulating? This is the few days of your cycle when you're most likely to conceive, thus if you've been having unprotected sex during this time the chances of you becoming pregnant are even higher. Google 'Ovulation calculator' and this should give you a bit more of an insight into the possibilities that you are pregnant. Implantation bleeding will often occur somewhere between 6-12 days after ovulation. So if the dates that you've been having sex during ovulation (if you have) with the additional 6-12 days added on to that matches up with the day of the bleeding then i'd most likely think it is implantation. None the less if I were you i'd still take a test just to be on the safe side. Good luck :)

Legioness agony auntAre you on any form of birth controll at all? If not, then it could well be implantation bleeding, which would result from pregnancy. It's just a thought, but something you should look into just incase!

If you want to be certain you're ok, you should see a doctor or go to Planned Parenthood at least. Unprotected sex leaves you vulnerable to some really bad situations...HPV, (which can cause cervical cancer...which you DO NOT want), syphillis, HIV, etc. Please use protection. It may be that your body was traumatized due to the frequent intercourse and you're fine, but you won't know for certain unless you're seen by a doctor. Please don't be afraid to be seen. Be afraid of what happens when you ignore your symptoms. I hope you are fine. Good luck.

this could be implantation bleeding (a sign of pregnancy) because you are only spotting, and because you have been having unprotected sex i would go and do a pregnancy test if i was you, this could also be other things too, it could be that sex is too hard and causes you to bleed a little but to be on the safe side go and have a pregnancy test done. good luck

lah mouw agony auntIt wasn't your period... It may just mean you tore something. It's not uncommon so don't be worried.

If you're scared to go to the doctor about these types of things then I suggest you try a place like planned parenthood. They wouldn't tell you you're overreacting they would just help you get the information you need! That's why they're there!

I also suggest you stop having unprotected sex especially if he's not pulling out or anything how are you preventing an unwanted pregnancy?!! you never know what could happen that you don't want to!BE SAFE before you regret something!

You haven't mentioned weather you ue conraception here or not. I was wondering because the pill can sometimes cause spotting now and then. It could be rough sex, if so has it happened before. If its really worrying you its best to go to your doctor as they have the expert knowledge to help you with your worries.
