Hello All,

I am a guy aged 23 years. This is not a very serious question, but would appreciate your views.

I really want to see the movie - Sex and the City - 2". Considering the fact that this movie is considered a "chick flick", would it be really awkward for a guy to watch this movie alone in a theater (that would be filled with women, in all probability) ?????? I don't have any friends either...so I have to go all alone.

And this is just a specific case. In general, I prefer Family Drama and romance movies to action/thriller (the ones men are supposed to like) . And apart from this, I feel I have more feminine attributes to my personality/outlook/thinking/psychology than masculine qualities.(Thankfully, so far I haven't noticed any feminine attributes as far as my body/physique is concerned).

Is something wrong with me. I would love to hear your views. Thanks for your time and effort in reading my post.

No, It's normal.

Whoever said what you listed are considered feminine-like are created by a man, do you honestly fall as a victim for that?

I've seen a lot of men with the so called feminine-like traits, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Be you, simple.

Honeypie agony auntCall a female friend and offer to take her to see the movie:) I see nothing wrong in your taste in movies.

Personally I'm NOT a fan of most "chick-flick", nor will I watch hacker-slasher movies... We all have a genre we like. That... my friend is why there is such a great variety of movies... and people.

CindyCares agony aunt There is absolutely nothing wrong with you.

My ex came with me to see the Bridget Jones movies and he loved them :)

Tastes are tastes and not everybody must be an Ernest Hemingway.

Maybe it 's because I live in Italy now. Here the culture is perhaps a bit less testosterone-laden than in USA... however romantic comedies are very popular, all men are rather obsessed with fashion and gourmet cuisine, most of them are too lazy to go trekking or hunting, and nobody drinks beer straight from the bottle.

Maybe you should relocate :)-

Dear

It is nothing wrong, we think you spend lot of time aloof, you imagine a lot, you straight away put ur self into others shoes to understand your views through them, this is quite natural for all the human being, do not try to restrict your feeling either femanine or masculaine, you should contact your close friend, try to see if you could coup up with their actions / rections and your emotions, date a girl see the transformation within yourself, medidate, visualize what nature has given you mentaly and physically discuss try to come out of the notion that you are facinated on only one thing in the world, try this for couple of months, and come back with your thoughts.
