Ill give you some info on my bf to give you a better idea of what he might like.
Hes in a band and plays bass and can also play guitar, he likes Pshycology and science and Buddhism, he wants to travel and he isnt really a materialistic person at all.
But i probably should of mentioned in my last post that i got laid of from my job a month ago, so funds are very limited at the moment - this is where im struggling.
I know he doesnt need anything for the band or his bass, he isnt going travelling for two years yet. And i was thinking maybe a book about Pshycology or something as i know he enjoys reading. But i know absolutely nothing on the subject so wouldnt know where to start on that one.
I was thinking about maybe taking him bungee jumping as he has always said that he would love to do it. But again - out of my budget.
To be honest, like i said he isnt materialistic and would probably love anything i got him. I just want something more original and to really think about it as he idid for my birthday present. All ive done so far is make him a card (he always said he appreciates people making him cards more than buying them as it feels more special to him).

You can do this!Jewllery is always a great idea.A remote control helicopter would probably blow his mind.Anything sexually forbidden normally is usually a good one ;)Something he will remember... an engraved lighter?I made my boyfriend a scrapbook and suprisingly he actually treasures it. I put in photos, tickets, pictures of funny things we actually fought over.. like a piece of the monopoly game and pictures of us pulling sad faces. He loved it!! Some ideas are:
-yearly subscription to his favorite magazine
-gift card to his favorite store - or an item he's been wanting
-gift cards to a restaurant and movie theater for him and a buddy (a girl buying her guy a guy's night is awesome)
-hat with his favorite sports team logo
-photo framed of the two of you
-a new video game or movie
