Sir....I suggest you take action now! You are far to young to give up on a good sex life. Don't be so selfish and lazy. Your wife or girlfriend need you to keep it popping in the bedroom! This is tough love dude!

Okay....let's check medical.....testostrone, blood pressure, stress, viagra, cealise, see mary, see anybody who can get you back on track. If porn will help get a rise...porn it is, if prayer will help....rise in the name of Jesus! Don't just accept this and throw in the towel. A healthy sex life is proven to be great for the heart. Hummmmm....is your heart broken?

My ex-husband lost his sex drive early in our marriage....did you notice....I said EX- HUSBAND....and I am 13 years younger than him and I am the bomb.com....for the record...I am very attractive. We tried everything at first...counseling, sex therapy, schedules, toys, prayer. It all worked, but only for as long as he was willing. Years later, I found out that it was more emotional...than physical. Unresolved issues from past relationships and expectations to perform in our marriage. Needless to say....the marriage didn't make it.

Make an effort to find out what's going on. You owe it to yourself.

A female reader, YouWish United States +, writes (3 May 2012):

YouWish agony auntFirst of all, I'm really sorry! Second, it could be a combination of a lot of things, many of them medical and many of them health-related.

A poor diet and sedimentary lifestyle can dampen it. Stress can too. If you're really worried about things, it can have an adverse affect on it.

If you're taking medicine like sedatives, blood pressure medicine (that's a big one!), cholesterol, anti-depressants, pain pills, etc., that has a big effect.

If you haven't had a physical in the past year, it would do you some good to go have one done, and while you're there, mention this to your trusted doctor. The answer could be really simple! Just don't lose heart!
