So I think the first thing you need to figure out is "what do you want?"
Do you want a boyfriend? You don't need one just because your friends have them. Some people are actually asexual and happiest alone.
You mention your friends have kids. Again... do you want them or just think you should want them? If you do want them, are you just wanting a boyfriend so you can have the kid?
You can have anyone you want if you just get out there, meet new people, and try and relax.
But from this, I don't know if you know what you want.

If this is your choice then there is not much we can say, go out meet new people, boys and girls you never know who is going to flick your switch.
