Wow this sounds just like the situation I am in, but I am one of the girls! Well I would make sure that you get to know as much about both these girls as you can, and choose the one you can see yourself having a future with. Which one are you the most compatible with? Which one could you end up marrying? Don't just choose the one who live by you because it is easier! Make sure you really think this through because you could end up losing one of them! Even if you want to stay friends with both of them it probably won't work out. The girl who you end up being in a relationship with isn't going to be happy with you talking to the other girl. Have you talked to both of these girls to see how they feel about you? My advice is to not make a decision until you are sure of what you want! Then go with your heart.

Long distance relationships have their problems.
You shouldnt worry about losing the other as a friend, she may not even like you 'in that way' so there isn't any point in assuming that she will stop being your friend if you date the local lass.
But the choice is yours! Surely there is one whom you like more than the other?
