2 beers and he couldn't get an erection! What happened?

My bf is ALWAYS horny and we have an active sex life, I love it. We don't drink much actually but tonight we each had 2 beers. He wasn't horny at all! for the first time since I know him (I've known him for 2 years) he couldn't get an erection! I was shocked. Most of the time we just start talking about sex and he gets hard and starts to jump on me and touching me, but now, I touched him and... he didn't get hard at all. He just had 2 beers. What happened??
