What kind of evidence do they need to support that crime. Could he get into trouble if my mom found out and told the police? Reply to this Question Share |

yes, sweetie you should have waited until you were 18 at least before you tried to sleep with him.

I hated him so much that I wanted to get him arrested. I didn't know he was that old originally he told me he was 19. I never had the guts to go through with it though especially cause he had a 6 year old son, but I recently found out that he's in prison but I don't know why. Perhaps some girl got to him before I did. Basically he's too old for you in my opinion you're old ebough legally to have sex but I still don't trust these old guys out here anymore. So be careful.

There's some good information on the following website -
http://www.parentalalert.com/
but i've not looked thru it all.
Basically, the way i was told about it - if you're below the age of consent for where you live (here it is sixteen) and have sex with someone over the age of consent - it is considered rape because you are not at the legal age to make the proper informed consent to have sex (the site explains this better). I was also told that if your parents suspect statutory rape and at the time you are still below the legal age limit and dating someone above the limit - they can 'check your virginity' by giving you a vaginal examination.
I'm not sure if this is true, or just what my scary aunty told me but anyway. I'd just take a look at this site, it's a US one, so it'll be relevant to you. hope it helps.

It depends upon which state you live in and the laws there. Each state is different.
