try weight watchers. my mum did it and she did really well.my aunty also lost six stone! when you get to your ideal weight then still watch what you eat. join health clubs and start doing excercises like cycling and running. good luck x

I find that if you go for a 20 min walk most days it helps. and try not to eat late and if you get seeds or raisens to munch on it keeps you from eating junk!

good luck

DIE-romantic. agony auntWell im 14, and im looking to lose weight as well. So throughout the 6 weeks holiday i have started doing more exercise and eating less junk food and bringing in fruit and wholemeal snacks.

You cant lose it with a snap of a finger, it takes upto 6 weeks, and if you stick to it, it really will pay off. Whatever you do, dont start starving yourself, it may work but its not healthy and your whole body will shut down. It does more damage than good. So basically, exercise and less junk food. And you will see a difference in 2-3 weeks.

When you do reach your target weight that you want to be, you still have to exercise and eat healthily or you will end up back at square one.

Good luck xxx :)

Hi,

You can’t lose weight fast and keep it off. You put it on slowly, so it has to come off slowly. I know you don’t want to hear that, but if you lose too much, too soon, it will all go back on again plus a bit extra. This always happens, trust me. Cut out trash food like sweets, biscuits, sugary drinks and fatty foods. Try to eat more fruit and vegetables. But don’t go mad over it. If you have an occasional treat it won’t make you fat. Don’t weigh yourself everyday because you will become obsessed with each tiny loss or gain in weight, and that will make you obsessed with food. Find a form of exercise that you enjoy, if you don’t enjoy it you won’t keep doing it. Exercise is important because it burns fat, and also increases lean muscle tissue. Muscle burns fat even while you are sitting there doing nothing. I don’t mean great big manly muscles, just a normal, healthy toned body is what you are aiming for. Good luck.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (15 August 2007):

Easiest way to do it it fire up your matabolism. May not mean much. Its about what you eat calories and what you burn.

You need to exercise - this burns calories. Cut out the junk food. Done overeat massive portions esp late on make your evening meal your last and make sure you have breakfast.

You will find eating small & often helps but not late on.

Try to find a sport you like and go three times a week. Make sure its quite energetic though. A little bit of weight training also helps.

Stick to this execise and watching your calorie intake and in a couple of months weight will fall off. Just stick to it.

1. be happy in yourself and dont let anything bother you

2. if you have a dog take it for a long walk if not just go for a long walk/ of go smimming or take up a sport.

3. stop fizzy pop and drink plenty water. at least a litre a day

4. dont eat white bread worst thing for you.

5. make sure you eat within an hour of you getting up and dont eat in bed or after 8 on the evening.

6. have little healthy snacks through out the day dont have big portions.

7. get friends involved for moral support.

8. think of a weight that you like to be at and aim for it.

9.make sure you dont try and loose to much weight try and stick to a resonable weight

10. GO SHOPPING and find a top or trousers smaller than what you are and also make that you goal to be able to fit in them when you lose weight.
