writes:ok so basically i go in2 a chat room but simply to talk to my cousin who lives in US. i have recently met a guy in there with is 7yrs older than me. he is sweet and caring and i feel like i can talk 2 him bout everything. i have fallen in love with him and he has told me he has fallen in love with me 2.the problem is that this guy is good friends with my cousin and if we started dating he would tell her for sure. if any member of my family found out i fancied or was going out with someone 7yrs older they would go mental. what should i do?

This is a very small age to fall in love with someone that you haven't met at all and he is 7 years older than you. Listen... if you were 23 and the guy was 30 (this is the 7 years difference again) most of us should probably tell you to go ahead for your love. All of us would support it. But as you are only 13 and he is 20,what i will advice you is to stop that dream and just look at the handsome coevals around you...That will be better for you...  this is a hard queation to reply to. but i think your really young and ive been through a situation simalar to yours once or twice. i think you would have a hard time w/ a guy 7 years older then you. im married to a man 5 years older and thats tuff. most of the time i feel i cant relate and the age differance is hard but i love him. i understand that part. i think that you should stick w/ your family and not date someone so much older if hes going to be 21 soon, the bar scene os going to come to him. having a lomg distant relationship isnt easy. i would just remember that your family means more to you then anything....trust me, youll them more then you think you will. good luck
