So was this just a line ? Or does it seem like he actually likes me?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

For three months in the summer I was texting and seeing this guy although we were not "official".

He got weird around the time I was going back to college and didn't text me as much and then abruptly stopped texting me first. (which we had both been doing before)

If I texted him, we'd talk and he acted like he was happy to talk to me but I always had to initiate. I got tired of doing this and figured he just wasn't interested.

About a month went by and in a drunken moment I randomly texted and in the conversation I asked him why he stopped texting me. He said it was because he figured I'd have a guy in college and not want him. I said that wasn't true, I didnt. He now says he wants to come visit me and we are talking again. So was this just a line or does it seem like he actually likes me?
