writes:Back in October, somebody appeared on MySpace and started stalking me. They kept telling me all these things they knew about me, including where I had gone to lunch that day etc.I figured it was one of my friends, but I saw fairly decisive evidence against it being either of them. It accumulated until they had a cyber-pet on their MySpace with my name, and a count-down til I was "shot down".They then disappeared as I blocked them due to the death threat. I then got into a relationship with a girl who turned out to be quite mentally disturbed, and she has now left me as she couldn't handle the pressure of being with me as I'm quite disturbed also, and she's now dating my best friend, and they're being very public online about it.After the stalker being gone for quite some time, s/he resurfaced recently, shortly after I stopped talking to my ex. I don't have a clue how it could have been her before, but I'm sure she fancied me for quite some time before we started dating in February. Is it possible that my ex is my online stalker?

 Document everything and go to the police. Seriously. Death threats should be taken seriously and stalkers are bad news. If you don't have any of the previous stuff write down as much as you remember. It could be your ex. Or it could be a deranged middle-aged pervert who picked you at random. There's no way to know without help. Take all the evidence you can find to the police.

Hi,
If she could have known the things that the stalker knew about you, then it could have been her. But have a good think about this before you decide that it was. Could she really have known all of those things? You don’t want to blame her for something that she didn’t do.
You should block this stalker again straight away. Don’t wait for really nasty threats. Also, keep a good distance from your ex-girlfriend, but be friendly if you do meet. If you keep ignoring the stalker, you are not giving them what they want, and they will go away. If this is getting to you, I would try to spend a lot less time on MySpace.
