writes:Hello everyone, I was wondering how I could talk to my boyfriend about being more clean and organized. The two of us live together and whenever he comes home he takes his shirt, shoes and socks off and puts them in a pile on the floor next to his computer (it will stay there for days). It drives me nuts because I like a clean house so I am always the one picking up his crap. He leaves dishes full of left over food on his computer table as well. As you can see he is addicted to computer games so he will come home turn on the computer and be in his own little world until about 2 in the morning, this means he does not take a shower everyday. It is so disgusting, I want him to take a shower every night before he goes to bed because he has been at his office all day. Now, I have mentioned this to him before but he says that he feels comfortable to be like this and not have to make sure everything is clean. I dont know how much more I can take of this, can anybody give me advise on how to change his ways without hurting his feelings or making him mad at me?

When you move in with someone you just dont think about their mess do you love, Its something that just doesnt cross your mind.. BUT ARGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is what it can get like and you have to tell him straight because at the moment your keeping your cool but you will explode in the end, like a huge volcano.....:)
When he comes home say you want to have a chat before he puts his game on, and just say "Com on love im not pickin up after you all the time" Living together is compromise and you seem quite ok with what he does in his spare time so all your asking is for a little help, without seeming to be a nag, thats how we turn into nags, when our partner does'nt listen then after we have said it 95 times were nagging!!!!!!:)
You have to get him to realise that its important to you and you can both come to a compromise after all the sink cant be that far away and neither can the washing basket really...
My sense of humour would be to put his comutor game in the washing basket and then tell him as he was getting it could he put his washing in on the way!!!!!
