Don't want to lose my friends but I really like this guy.

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Basically, I have been friends with this boy for ages now, and I have started to have a massive crush on him.

People say he would be good for me, but they never say if he has told anyone he has a crush on me too. I have got a bad reputation with boys. I have never had a boyfriend, because I can't ask them out. I just get too nervous. This time it feels diffrent though to any other crush I have ever had. To make everything worse, my 2 best friends also have crushes on him. They don't know I like him yet though. I don't know whether I should ask if he likes me or not? I don't want to loose my friends but I really like this guy.

I got a similar problem..but I believe you can make things flow and not going on an "oficial date". Do things with him...getting out, drinking some coffee... I get nervous too but deep down you can feel if the chemistry is there. Don't feel bad because you're shy about relationships. It's better reputation than sleeping around.

Good luck!

I wouldn't yet ask him out right, this can end up being a tricky situation. Personally I would see him more if you don't see him a great deal. Maybe suggest going to see a film, go out for a drink that kind of thing. What you don't want to do is go out places too serious such as dinner or anything just yet. Just see more of him and see where things go with it, if it all goes well keep seeing him on his own go out places but nothing too heavy to start with
