No objection it was brief (afternoon in front a restaurant)and he said I could call him, and vice versa. What would the interest level be? Should I wait for him to call or should I call him the following evening? Reply to this Question Share |

If he doesn't call in a couple of days, I wouldn't have any qualms about calling him and asking him to go for a coffee again. Just say you enjoyed it and you would like to do it again. Keep it simple, like coffee, so it can't really be construed as you asking him on a date. If you do that a couple of times, he will get the idea that maybe you are interested in him, unless he is a complete bozo - which you want to find out sooner rather than later anyway. And it's a good way to get to know him a little better to see if he really is worth chasing. Who knows, maybe he will ask you out for dinner on your second coffee non-date. Let's hope so!
