*l Somers's profile:

I have always been fascinated by what makes people tick, and ever since I hit puberty, I have been particularly fascinated by the dynamics of sexual/romantic relations. In fact, I have dedicated a website to the exploration and discussion of human sexuality in all its forms. Among the many features of my site, I have my own advice forum in which I answer questions from posts from all over the world.

I have gained my knowledge through life's experience, much reading and personal observation, asking questions - of the female sex in particular, and research (such as the surveys on my website). Although I have never married, I have done a lot of dating and have been in long-term relationships, and, naturally, I have learned a lot through that.

In short, I derive a lot of pleasure in sharing my knowledge and life's experience to those seeking advice.

The guy I like is 2 years younger to me. Can it work?

Q.   Ok so I am a 24 year old female and I really like a guy friend of mine. I want to pursue a relationship with him. The problem is that he is only 22. Most people have told me that I'm a ridiculous for even worrying about an age difference that ...

A.   7 February 2012: What age difference!!! You call two years an age difference?! Two years is a factor when you're 14 and he's 12, but not at your age! A 10-20 year differential, on the other hand: now, that's an age difference! It's the guy's age in terms of emotion... (read in full...)
