I have, LoL .. on my 21st Birthday, but do not want to share my story :[ It is too embarrassing. I have never drank so much in my life and do not plan on drinking at all now and in the near future.

Never Have I Ever ...Went skinny dipping in the Lakes, Beach - Ocean, Rain, Water Fountain or any places that contains water with the exception of a bath tub :]

LoL, does "Almost" count? My brother was backing up his car and I guess, he didn't see me .. I had my mp3 player on full blast and didn't hear him start his engine. My mom and I were actually doing some gardening. My brother has a big working truck and my mom went off somewhere real quick then came back and saw. She screamed at my brother while I jumped off to the grass .. off to teh side real fast. Whew, I nearly died! Had a few scraps here and there .. bleed a lot.. a whole lot! :[ True story .. no lie. Never am I ever going to stand near or behind a car ever agin. I am totally traumatized for life.

Never Have I Ever... "Ate a whole bags of oreos". Mmmm.

Eck, am I the only one that has been a bit bad or has tried some of these things :[ Not that I was bad during my childhood years.

BUT, I ahve skipped school a few times. My friend and I were in class and all a sudden she and I went out of the class and drove off to get BOBA drinks. Martini, where are you? LOL .. he would know what "boba" drinks are. Mmmm yummy.

Unfortuantly, we both got caught by the teacher a few days later after so many days of skipping class to go get BOBA drinks, but it wasn't days straight. It was just once in a great while. She just gave us a warning and that was it. True, honest.

I have run like hell from a police officer...my own dad! lol (He was a cop for 30 years) I did this, when I was 5 and I was in big trouble for making my little brother cry. He caught me and I got a couple good whacks on the backside! lol

Wow Waterloo, nice places to visit, all! You should be able to drive between the Catskills, Connecticut and New York, but will definitely have to fly down to Florida.

You're all going to think I'm making this up, but I lived in Iceland in the mid 70s with my family! And I was there again for a long weekend in June 2004. Fantastic scenery, very bleak but strangely compelling.

To sum up living in Iceland, cold, windy and dark. Well it was dark in the winter, only a few rays of sunshine in the day. Windy enough to blow you off your feet somedays, but pleasant and calm others. Cold, well, its northern bit is within the Arctic Circle, so we all had really good warm jackets to keep us toasty...

The people were polite, well-educated, reserved, and sparse. I think the total population was something like 250,000 on the whole island in the mid 70s, with 85,000 in Reykjavik, the capital. Lots of fish available, no surprise, and lots of sheep too, very few trees, lovely but treeless landscape. Think very early geologically and you've got the picture. Hot springs provide warm water for the homes and heat as well, but the sulfur smell in the hot water takes a bit of getting used to....

Hehe ok then! Well i saw red square and st basil's cathedral :D it was interesting to see what russia is really like, you can see that some parts are quite bad, like houses collapsing with people still living in them :S but it was great seeing all the sites and things, and practising my russian skills !!

Agreed for Japan.

I think Moscow was probably a lot cleaner when I saw it back in the late 1970s. Also there was virtually no traffic except buses and trams! Unfortunately I was working rather than sightseeing. It was more backstreets and blocks of flats than the beautiful bits like St Basil's (which was derelict anyway in those days - because it was a symbol of religion and the government didn't approve!) I have a lovely picture of the KGB agent who was supposed to be keeping track of me - desperately trying to look inconspicuous and failing miserably. I'll see if I can find it and post it somewhere. It's hilarious. I'll put it up and post a link when I track it down.

I have used a chainsaw to cut tree branches in my backyard, two summers ago. That was quite an experience. lol Let me say, I'm lucky my hands and arms remained attached. I joyfully passed the job onto the neighbor who finished the job for me.. Never again.

I hate spiders. I really, really, really hate spiders.

So, while Uncle Sneaker and Waterloo Sunset are busy tangoing, I'll admit that I've run naked in the rain - down the beach at midnight into the sea. Wonderful! If you've never done it, it's one of those things that you just HAVE to do at least once - preferably on a deserted beach with your partner and then have a cuddle on the warm, wet sand afterwards.

And then you don't care about all those other things that never have you ever...

Susan, I want to run on the beach in the rain too!!! That sounds sooo lovely.

I have sat on a beach at midnight once with my boyfriend (now husband). I was enjoying looking at the stars, feeling the cool night breeze from the sea, and then he said to me, 'I should have bought a beach house years ago, I've missed the window of opportunity now, the prices have skyrocketed and I can't afford to now. I should have thought about that when I first started coming to this beach town, now I've missed my chance...'

Kinda took the romance right out of it. I yelled at him and stomped back to the rental house. Still makes me laugh at the missed romantic moment. He knows better now. :D

It's a great cave system, but I'm not too sure on the pronunciation. "Porth-er-Og-off" is about right! Which, I think, means something like "The Gate of Hell", but the Welsh call most of their larger caves "Ogof".

Yes, I had forgotten about that one, Uncle Sneaker. But it was cheese-and-pickle sandwiches rather than fish and chips, wasn't it?

Waterloo, I need a translation. What's a 'gooseberry moment'? More for the English in all its variations thread.

Last September while I was with my family at a beach in North Carolina, my mother and I rose before dawn most mornings and walked down to the beach to see the sunrise. It was great. Funny how a few clouds can make the whole thing more beautiful, is that a life metaphor?

And you two kitties, 'Ah yes, I remember it well.' You were dressed in red, no I was all in blue...

When you are on your own but accompanying two people who are partners, you are "playing gooseberry". I believe its origin is referring to a chaperone who would literally go and pick gooseberries (or other fruit) to keep herself busy while the lovers got to know each other better!
