the last few nights that i've been sleeping with my boyfriend, and while im half asleep he'll say to me "youre mine". is it normal for guys to say that? he can be quite insecure and needy at times and today we were out and there were a lot of guys around, and he started to hold my hand a lot more often and touch me more. is it an insecurity issue?

Gabrielle Stoker agony auntLast time a guy said that within my hearing I replied "only until morning". Yes, he's a little insecure no doubt, but that's not really a bad thing if you're looking for a relastionship. Keeps 'em on their toes.

A reader, anonymous, writes (16 August 2010):

I think he is a little insecure by the sounds of it. No doubt he sees that you are very attractive and wants you all to himself.

It is important to make him feel comfortable, not play on it. Tell him your feelings for him. The only watch-out here is if he gets possessive and it starts to feel bad or he tries to restrict you from doing things you want to do.

Otherwise it is pretty natural to be young and in love and insecure.
