Last time a guy said that within my hearing I replied "only until morning". Yes, he's a little insecure no doubt, but that's not really a bad thing if you're looking for a relastionship. Keeps 'em on their toes.

It is important to make him feel comfortable, not play on it. Tell him your feelings for him. The only watch-out here is if he gets possessive and it starts to feel bad or he tries to restrict you from doing things you want to do.
Otherwise it is pretty natural to be young and in love and insecure.
