A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I just broke up with my muslim boyfriend and I am now talking to someone else but we are not in a relationship but we have a very good friendship something I never had with my past relationship... I want to know should I see other people before I date him or if I know he is right for me should I stick with him? People tell me you never date your rebound but I really like him.

BettyBoup agony auntIf you really like this person and if you feel you are ready for another relationship right now, then go for it. Rebounds are when people get with someone after a serious relationship, just because they feel lonely and miss their ex. You dont sound like you are still focused on your ex, so you could well be ready to move on. Go with your instinct on this.

Good luck :)

Hello if you have coped well with the break up from your boyfriend and have no regrets then date away! I think its only when people are still in love with their ex`s that its unfair to start dating too soon. But if you are over your ex then you should be fine to date again.
