Hey,
Woah girl, chill out, relax, your totally over reactng with this, itd msn, chill. ask him carmly for his msn, im sure he wont mind, keep talking for bout 2 days, and make sure he is definatly interested, is he?
If he is, then in those next 2 days ask him if hes free? not direct, but very suggestive. He will get it, if hes bright enough. if not, ask homm flat out, "Do you wanna meet up some time?" your not going over board, like you seem to think, calm. clam does it.
If he says yeah, THEN GREAT. u got urself a boy. he wont be able to resist you! im sure of it. ull be fine, but dont seem to desprate, be urself when ur around him, dont crake to many jokes, make him feel awesome. Dont ask him out tho, i feel that maybe he shoul dask you out, in my opinon, guys ask girls out... :)
Hope i helped! good luck!

Stop beating around the bush and ask him out. Just simply along the lines of going for a drink of something. There's nothing more to it.
As for your last sentence, that's just over the top.
