(I was really sick and I didn't know what was wrong with me, turns out I might have chronic sinitus) Anyway, since about 2 weeks ago my vagina has been really itchy, on and off.. for a couple days it's very itchy, but then after a couple days it doesn't itch anymore. I wash myself down there everyday. I have discharge and it's thick but it doesn't smell at all. I heard that antibiotics sometimes cause yeast infections. I'm worried that I have one and I'm too embarrassed to go to a doctor. Is it possible for the yeast infection or this infection to clear itself as long as I keep really clean down there?

you really need to go see a doctor to make sure it is a yeast infection. If it is, just eat yogurt and drink lots of cranberry juice for a couple weeks. Should clear up. If not take the antibiotics your doc will proscribe you when you find out if it is a yeast infection or not.
good luck!

You need to see a doctor - and you also need to tell him about the antibiotics you've been taking if he doesn't already know about them.
Unsupervised use of antibiotics can lead to far worse problems than a yeast infection, and could even put your life at risk.
