Would the age gap affect our relationship if we were to get closer?

I am 18 and have known this guy for about 2 years. I only see him when I go into the shop he works at but he's really chatty, very sweet, super hot and sends me flirty texts (he gave me his number because he gave me a job application and told me to text him if I needed help with it). I know that I like him a lot and I’m fairly positive he does too; though, I could be naive in thinking this. I’m just concerned that if anything where to happen the age gap would affect our relationship. He’s eleven years older than me.
