A male United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

My girlfriend (20) and I (25) have been together for almost a year. She is at university (not far away) where as i have a settled job and done various things she still wants to do.

I see her at weekends for one night at the moment. she is in a really busy spell, under pressure and feels like she's not putting in enough effort with me. also she is worried by our age gap meaning we are in different points in our lifes.

she says she needs to sort her head out and figure out what she wants. im thinking i dont want to hold her back in life and that maybe a short break would help things?

Someone please help!!! i dont know what i can do?
