Would not getting closure cause me to dream of my ex?

A female age 30-35, *ala19 writes:

I've been having dreams about my ex lately.We broke up last year.Im over him now,the problem is these dreams.For the past 3 nights now,I wake up and see him laying next to me(smiling and wisphering).Then another night it's a nightmare.He tried to hurt my dog.Do u think it's because I didn't get clousre why these dreams are happening?Why now?

I don't know what the reason is, but from the sounds of these nightmares he must not have been a stellar guy, unless you are afraid of guys/people in general.

Get closure with him if you can, and see if the nightmares go away.
