writes: I remember I got into a fight always over and over with this girl who I was supposedly close to. It was about this: she would be real sweet and say "I'll call you later" and she never did. It got me real mad because it happened over and over and it made me feel like her words didn't mean nothin at all. If I say something it is real important for me to keep it, like if i say i will call you i make it my business to call.I know things happen but this happened voer and over. it was not the only thing that got in the way of our relationshiop but it added fuel to the fire so to speak.Now reflecting I am wondering if I was being too petty. If you're a man of your word, it's understandable why that would rile you - and as you said, it wasn't just a one-off, it happened on numerous occasions. If you had other difficulties in your relationship too, something like this might've seemed like the final straw. It would indeed bother me too if someone kept telling me they'd call and never did... I wouldn't be happy to be kept hanging by the phone like that! Take care :)
