I have a male friend who seems to flirt with me quite a bit. I don't see him alot but when I do he winks at me from time to time, he put his arm round my waist when I leant over him to stroke his dog that he had with him, he will happily have crude conversations with me and even remember about things we have talked about a year before and then more recently we were at a meeting together and he sat there and made a saucy comment (he mentioned about a g string) and I laughed and so did he. Afterwards at the pub we were sat together and whilst nothing that obvious happened I did notice that he sat with his legs apart next to me (he was obviously very relaxed) and at one point had turned slightly towards me and put his arm up on the chair and pulled his knee/leg out towards me to make himself more comfortable. He also left at the same time as me but stopped to chat to someone.

I was out again with him and friends last night. He flirted a bit with me and the usual innuendo and then got locked in the toilet and after he kicked the door down which unfortunately hit me, he turned round and said in front of everyone that he needed counseling from me. He was quite drunk though. We sat and flirted and then when he left he walked past me and put his hands on my shoulders. I am assuming he is just very comfortable in my company but a friend of mine has noticed that he does seem to flirt with me quite a bit and said that last night he was quite touchy feely with me and I asked whether I did back and he said no he was doing it to me. Basically what I am asking would a bloke flirt with you as a friend only if he didn't fancy you.

I've been in that position recently, my mate would be all touchy feelly with me, so I assumed he fancied me when he didn't.

What you should do is ask him straight up if he fancies you.
