During that time period I got to know her real well and found out we have a lot in common. During that time I am pretty sure she had a bit of a crush on me and I was sure she would go out with me soon after she broke up with her boyfriend. The problem is this I have accidently become good friends with the guy she recently broke up with. I am starting to think that she doesn't really like me anymore because of that. could this be true? Would a girl not like me anymore if I suddenly was friends with her recent ex?

I dont think she would want to now date you if thats what you mean? Not that she dont like you, but if you and her ex are now freinds, she wont appreciate that, and will find it hard to move on from him if he is around. However you wont truely know unless you ask her! she may be ok with it, but on the other hand, will her ex appreciate you going out with her after he has just broken up with her? some things are better left alone. Give it time, and give her space, just continue to be her freind and who knows :)
