It doesn't smell or anything, it's just that I didn't have it when I was a virgin. I don't think I still have thrush because i'm not experiencing the symptoms I had before, and i think the reason that thrush kept coming back was because my partner had it and wasn't being treated for it.

reader, anonymous, writes (31 October 2006): It is completely normal for women to have a discharge everyday, most women have a heavy or light discharge all the time.
The main things to be concerned about is if the dicharge is not clear and if it has a strong smell.
Im not talking about after sex as you know you will produce alot of fluids directly after sex and sometimes for a day or two after sex.
But you seem to be looking out for the right signs. sometimes when your due to start your period you may have a heavier discharge or sometimes your body just changes and you just have a heavier discharge for no reason at all.
But as long as you look out for the signs that I mentioned you should be ok.
