You said the reason for her leaving is due to her parents unless you failed to explain if you were part of the reason and the others would know? Got to love the whole junior high/high school mentality of the small world.
Anyways...
I don't think it is worth any grief on your part to worry...just let things be and deal with it as it comes. You may find that you are worrying over nothing.

 hi huni well first of all would you really want friends that actually liked your best friend and not you ? and who cares if people judge you hold your head up high and tell them how it is they will respect you more for that hope this helps xxx
