Okay, I suppose this isnt really a relationship question, but i'm really hoping you guys will help me with this..

Im going on a trip soon with some friends, I am a size 12 jeans and I HATE how my body looks, We are going to spain so the climate will be pretty hot there, all of my friends are really skinny, so im sure they won't mind wearing shorts on a hot day, I however am really insecure about how I look with shorts on..

Is there anyway that i could lose at least a little bit of the fat off of my legs in 2 months? or is it just not possible? I dont go to any gyms because there arent any where I live. I dont do much excersize either so I have begun to do more and so far it hasn't helped one bit :/ I'm also going to start eating less junk food too, except that's not really going to plan either :/

I'm 16 by the way,

I would really appreciate any advice, Thanks in advance! :) x

If you are really serious about shedding a few pounds then you have to cut out the junk food.

Replace with a piece of fruit or some raw veg and a low cal dressing when you need to nibble.

Walking is good for legs, cycling, swimming. Or you can buy a dvd and exercise at home if you dont want to go out and do things.

But when you go away, you will find people of all shapes and sizes having a good time. So dont worry too much. Enjoy your holiday.

Im a size 12 bottom like yourself but an 8-10 top and I exercise 7 days a week and Im not considered fat,Im toned.I have had problems in the past with my weight but after taking up exercise you will definitley feel 1000 times better about yourself. 2 months is plenty of time to get into shape if your not completley happy with your looks but dont go on stupid fad diets! they never work! but what does work is consistent exercise along with healthy eating! & also dont feel pressurised to get slim if deep down your size hasnt affected you only until now..whats the problem!? Women are not all alike. There is no "perfect" woman.Good Luck hun x

followtheblackrabbit agony auntDo you have a bike? Cycling for 30-60 minutes can really hlp tone up the legs and lose weight..provided it's done regularly and with intensity. Example, bike hard for 15, slow down the next fifteen. To lose weight, exercise is a must. Three times a week is good. Also, eliminate junk food completly and start on a diet that's rich in a lot of good fruit, veggies and lean meats like turkey. Avoid beef and pork altogether. If you can, cut out meat altogether and go for seafood.

Don't eat white bread. Go for whole grains and check every label for fiber. Fiber is what keeps you full and cleanses your body-which is very important for weight loss. Here's a trick for cutting down junk food. Find your weakness...mine is chocolate :p So if I'm craving chocolate instead of grabbing a Twix or Snickers, I get rice cakes drizzled with choco-it's a healthier version of what I want :D If you like chips, get the baked variety. It's also more fun to exercise with buddies. Personally, I hated exercising alone so I avoided it. I didn't want to go jogging alone cause I was self-concious...thoughts like "what if that dude in that car laughs at me?" Worried me. So my best friend came with me and we'd make it fun. Oh the sily stuff we came up with...we'd be jogging in slow motion and calling it sexy jogging or pretending a big pole a mile away was our celeb crush and first one there got marriage rights :p Then we got into exercise dance tapes. We'd learn the moves and sweat bullets doing them all-just try and avoid Richard Simmons. My mum pulled out an old tape she had of him...we almost died of laugh exhaustion. So ok, by the end of three months I lost 15 pounds. Have fun with it, if you stress it you'll only become miserable. And starving yourself makes you gain weight as I found out from my doctor-your body senses you're starving and actually saves every ounce of fat it can get..yikes.
