writes: hey guys, the other day me and my boyfriend got a bit randy on a country walk, and snuck off and had sex in a field.(not elegant, i know!) Anyway, we both just got tested for std's before it just for a general check-up. But since then, my vagina has been having excrutiating shooting pains going through it and the inner part of the "lips" have swollen slightly. any idea if this is from the field or something from my boyfriend, even though he's "clean"Im sorry its such a gruesome question but i dont have a lot of time to take off work 2 get tested. many thanks xx

It sounds like you may have got bitten by something - were you lying down in grass? anything could have crawled up there and biteen you! TAKE TIME OFF WORK - Your health is more important and you need to get checked up as you may have an infection x good luck

It could be dermatitis as you can get rashes just about anywhere on your body - if you are usually ok then perhaps you have acquired a new allergy from frolicking in the pastures (I have an allergy to some plants for example)...but it could be a reaction to the heat of the summer or washing powder or anything! It may be mild thrush...or a STD...there is only one way to find out for sure and that is to go and get checked out by a doctor.
