writes: That's how everything started. Before the dating phase, my boyfriend and I used to go out in a huge group and have fun. I liked him a lot, but I didn't know if he reciprocated my feelings, so all I could do is flirt with him, hoping that some day he'd become interested in me. I've never dared to voice my feelings towards him, being afraid of losing his friendship. He was a shy, well-mannered guy, uninterested in girls (never had a relationship) and I knew I had no chance with him. One evening, while we were out with our friends, I was very happy, having a great time, talking about how marriage might destroy your freedom, so when he came near me, I playfully asked him: "Say, will you marry me?". It took him about 3 seconds to say "Sure". We were just playing. He knew I was playing and I knew he wasn't serious when he accepted my proposition. So he left to another table. A few minutes after, he comes back to my table, he sits above my head, he wreathes his arms round my chair and smiles at me, then he starts to tickle me to death, I almost couldn't breathe. I admit I was intrigued by this behavior, and I asked him why is he doing this. He said "We're married now, remember?". The next day, he asked me if I was mad at him. I told him I had no reason to be mad, but he apologized anyway for the other evening, thinking that he caused me trouble. Ever since that moment, we started seeing each other, just the two of us. We were joking about having kids, but in time, we realized that all those "marry me" jokes weren't jokes. Now we have a great relationship and I'm happy that one of us broke the ice. And thinking that everything started with a joke. Or maybe it wasn't just a joke... PS: Thank you for reading my story, I really felt the need to share it, because I think it's interesting.. somehow :). It's how things between me and my current partner happened when this relationship came into being. Now, when I write these things, my heart still beats fast because I recall that first physical approach like it's happening now.
